Behavioral Interventionists take part in working with and teaching children with special needs as part of a team. Candidates will be trained in the basics of Applied Behavior Analysis, specifically a teaching technique such as Discrete Trial Training, Natural Environment Training, etc. Upon completion of training, and overlaps, the Behavioral Interventionist will conduct structured sessions in the client’s home setting and/or school environment; taking daily data on each program/goal taught.
At Emerging Milestones, Registered Behavioral Technician’s goal is to enhance the autonomy and quality of life of individuals, and the family/caregivers that support them. Our board certified behavioral analysts create individualized intervention/ behavior support plans using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for each client in enrolled in our intensive ABA program and it is the responsibility of the behavior technician to work with caregivers, and their program supervisors, to put in place strategies within this plan and achieve the desired outcomes.
